Our childbirth education classes are thoughtfully created for expectant mothers and couples who want to feel informed, confident, and empowered as they prepare for labor, birth, and the early postpartum period. Whether you’re planning a hospital birth, birth center experience, or home birth, these classes focus on physiological birth, informed consent, and practical tools you can actually use.

 

You’ll learn:

• How your body is designed to labor and give birth

• Comfort measures, movement, breathing, and partner support techniques

• How to navigate medical options, interventions, and informed decision-making

• Preparing your mind, body, and heart for birth

• What to expect in the immediate postpartum period

 

Classes are taught by the doulas of East Texas Doula Collective, with a passion for educating and supporting women through pregnancy, birth, and beyond. Our approach blends evidence-based education, emotional support, and encouragement, helping you replace fear with trust and clarity.
